The bold, colour focused aesthetic of these Nike Air Max 270 React 'Pop Art' Shoes has been inspired by the distinctive mid-to-late 1950’s Pop Art movement. Continuing to have prominent influence on modern day design, this model has vibrant electro green coloured no-sew uppers made from synthetic materials. Curved cut out sections reveal a different material on either side of the foot, with a shaped obsidian coloured toe panel that continues into a curved section which wraps around the back of the heel. Contrasting yellow ochre Swoosh ticks with solid black outlines have been layered on top of either side of the foot, slightly concealed by the lace border. Secured by pink bartack stitching and two tone nylon loops, the webbed lacing system loops over the top of the synthetic tongue with a lower yellow ochre border and a curved navy coloured shape on top which provides a background for embroidered multi coloured ‘Air 270 React’ branding.

For ease of entry a nylon heel loop has been attached above a small embroidered Swoosh tick on the back of the heel and a decorative printed sockliner can be found within for additional character, showing a vector drawing of a Nike shoe box. For unrivaled comfort and support, a transparent Air Max unit has been inserted into the heel made from a transparent red tone material, whilst the sculpted black midsole has a textured surface which merges into a split tread design, with more prominent studs across one half of the foot and a curved pattern around the heel.

As one of Nike’s newest Air Max models released in early 2019, the 270 React incorporates modern construction techniques with a retro-inspired aesthetic that results in a truly eye-catching finish. Supportive, comfortable and stylish, premium materials have been selected for each iteration with vibrant colourways drawing influence from art movements such as Bauhaus and Pop Art.
